The Dashboard is a personalized overview panel displaying real-time statistics, updates, and insights into tasks, projects, and team performance. It helps users monitor progress and deadlines efficiently with customizable widgets that fit different workflows.
In Hidesc, the Dashboard serves as the central hub for tracking personal, team, and organizational activities. It offers two layout types — Default and Custom.
- Default Layout: Predefined widgets and metrics for quick insights.
- Custom Layout: Fully configurable workspace for individual workflows.
Dashboards allow users to view everything — from tasks and deadlines to performance and communication — in one unified space.
Layout Options
Default Layout
- Preconfigured widgets such as Status Counts, Task Statistics, Updates, and Chats.
- Provides an overview without requiring customization.
- Ideal for quick insights and new users.

Custom Layouts
- Users can create and save multiple layouts with role-specific widgets.
- Enables in-depth analytics tailored for each department or team.
- Perfect for managers and admins who monitor overall performance.

Widgets
Widgets are the building blocks of the Dashboard. Users can add, remove, and rearrange them to personalize their workspace.
Available Widgets
- Status Counts: Categorizes tasks (Todo, In Progress, Done, etc.).
- Task Statistics: Visual graph of task distribution.
- Calendar: Displays tasks/events with multiple view options.
- Upcoming Deadlines: Highlights tasks nearing due dates.
- Workload Statistics: Visualizes workload by team or user.
- Sales Report: Tracks KPIs and sales metrics.
- Customer Overview: Displays customer-linked tasks or tickets.
- Task Report: Summarizes task count per user/team.
- Template Report: Shows task template usage trends.
- Performance Report: Displays productivity metrics by user/team.
Adding & Configuring Widgets
Step 1: Add Widget
- Click the “+ Add Widget” button.
- Select a widget type (e.g., Calendar, Task Statistics, or Task Report).
Step 2: Configure Widget
- Columns: Choose layout width — 1, 2, or 3 columns.
- Template: Select predefined widget layouts (if available).
- User Type: Choose between personal or team view.
- View Type: Select Week, Day, Month, or Team for calendars.

Step 3: Save & Place
- Click Save to confirm configuration.
- The widget appears instantly in your chosen dashboard layout.
