Contact Edit & Delete
The Edit and Delete features allow users to manage existing contact records by modifying or removing them with proper confirmation and data validation.
Edit Contact
Purpose
To update an existing contact's details such as name, business info, tax identifiers, communication info, and more.
How to Access
Navigate to Contacts List
Click the ✏️ Edit icon next to a contact
Update Steps
Modify the desired fields in the form
Click the Update button at the bottom
Changes are applied and reflected immediately

All the fields originally provided during contact creation can be edited:
First Name
Required field
Last Name
Optional field
Display Name

Email Address
Optional field
Phone

Delete Contact
Purpose
To permanently remove a contact record from the system.
How to Access
From the Contacts List
Click the 🗑️ Delete icon next to the contact
Confirmation Modal
"Are you certain you wish to delete this Contact? This action is irreversible."
Actions in Modal
Cancel closes the modal without deleting, Delete permanently removes the contact
Important Notes
Once deleted, the contact cannot be recovered
All related task/file associations are typically either:
(if configured)
but disconnected from the deleted contact
