Task List View

The Task List View is a centralized location where users can view, filter, and manage tasks across their team or project. This view offers powerful tools, including bulk editing and customizable columns (widgets), to streamline task management.

Task List View Interface

Start and Stop Working

The Start/Stop Working feature in the task list helps users manage active work sessions for tasks. It ensures that users can track when they begin or pause work on any task directly from the task list view.

Location in Task List

  • The Start/Stop button is visible in the Action column of each task row
  • It appears as:
    • ▶ Play Button → Start working
    • ⏸ Pause Button → Stop/Pause working

Functionality

Start Working (▶ Play Button)
  • Task is marked as Active/Working
  • Timer starts to track working duration
  • Task status highlighted as In Progress
  • Team can see who is currently working
Stop/Pause Working (⏸ Pause Button)
  • Task is marked as Paused
  • Timer stops and work duration is saved
  • Button switches back to ▶ for restart
  • Useful when switching between tasks
Start Working Example:

Task TSK049 – Team lead reviews team & individual OKRs

Clicking ▶ changes it to ⏸ and shows Hari S has started working

Stop Working Example:

Task ODI001 – AuditAxis

Clicking ⏸ pauses the session, ▶ button becomes available again
