Sprint Planning & Management

Implement agile methodologies with sprint planning and tracking

Project Type

Purpose:

The Project Type section lets users define the project structure as either:

  • Sprint-based
  • Milestone-based
  • None (general project)

This helps in planning and tracking deliverables more efficiently.

Sprint/Milestone Configuration

Options Overview

1 Sprint

Enables Agile-style sprint planning with time-bound goals.

2 Milestone

Divides the project into major deliverable points.

3 None

No structured segmentation. The project runs as a flat timeline.

Sprint/Milestone Configuration

Once you select Sprint or Milestone, you will be prompted to configure periods for the cycle.

1 Name

The title of the sprint or milestone (e.g., Sprint 1, Milestone A).

2 Time Interval

Choose a duration:

  • 1 Week
  • 2 Weeks
  • 3 Weeks
  • 4 Weeks
  • Custom

3 Start Date

Set the beginning of the sprint/milestone.

4 End Date

Set the ending date. Auto-calculated if an interval is selected.

5 Goal

Define the main objective or deliverable for the sprint/milestone. Rich text formatting is available.

Custom Configuration Features

If a Custom interval is chosen, the user manually sets both start and end dates.

Sprints and milestones can be created in series to cover the entire project timeline.

Rich text formatting is available in the Goal box for better clarity.

Additional Toggles

1 Create a Discussion Group
