Work History

The Work History section on the Task Single Page captures the time spent by users working on a specific task. It automatically logs the start and end times of each session to ensure precise tracking of the task's progress.

Work History Interface

How It Works

Every time a user interacts with a task, whether they start, pause, or resume work, the system records the time and updates the Work History section accordingly.

Start Time

Automatically captured when the task is initiated

End Time

Recorded when the task is paused or completed

Total Time

The calculated duration (in seconds) between start and end time

Updated By

The user who started and stopped the task

Work History Table Fields

Field Name Description
Sl No. Serial number of the work history entry
Start Time Timestamp of when the user started working on the task
End Time Timestamp of when the user stopped or paused the task
Total Time The duration of work in that session, displayed in seconds
Updated By The name of the user who initiated or paused the task

Important Notes

Work History Entries

Each entry is automatically logged when a user interacts with the task (e.g., starts, pauses, or stops). The system maintains a complete audit trail of all work sessions.

Time Accuracy

The system records time in real-time, with precision down to the second. This ensures accurate tracking of actual work duration for each session.

Admin and User Visibility

Both admins and users can view the work history for transparency and progress tracking. This promotes accountability and clear communication.

Cumulative Tracking

Total Worked time accumulates as the user interacts with the task, providing an ongoing record of how long a task has been actively worked on across all sessions.
